Sense of place - it means different things to different people. Sometimes you can drive into a community and you immediately feel its sense of place and it resonates with you. What do you think gives a community its sense of place? Is it the look or feel? The style of buildings? The green spaces? The places where people meet?

At present there is no sense of place in Beerwah. There is more sense of place in Glasshouse and possibly in Landsborough but Beerwah is lacking the lot. Especially now that the town has been cut into 2 halves.

A place that truely links to its surrounding landscape with lots of things to discover, interest etc. It needs to be comfortable, shady, of high quality. The people are also key to your memories of a place
