Community consultation closed 4 June 2017.
Through strategic directions and policy intentions (Part A) the strategy addresses the challenges and opportunities that the Sunshine Coast will encounter over the next 25 years - population growth, climate change, economic growth and technological change.
This new-generation strategy with its rolling five-year implementation plan (Part B) will be a powerful instrument for planning and advocacy.
The supporting network plan (Part C) provides direction and technical detail to assist with implementation.
The structure of the Draft Environment and Liveability Strategy
- Part A: Strategic directions (Vision, guiding principles, policy positions)
- Part B: Five-year implementation plan (Transformational actions)
- Part C: Network plan (Technical detail and desired standards of service)
