Project Overview

Overview

Seaforth City Council has decided to develop a Learning Community Strategy. The Learning Community Strategy will enable Council and the community to develop a culture of lifelong learning to support the health and wellbeing of the community.

The Strategy will support the Seaforth community to live rich, enjoyable, fulfilling lives, through embracing lifelong learning and the implicit belief that all types of learning – formal, informal and ad‐hoc – can have a positive impact on many spheres of an individual’s life, including health, employment and social connectedness.

Learning is a way of life, in the home, community, school setting, at work and at play. Building a learning community, where people work together, can help improve the social cohesion and economic wellbeing of our community.

A survey has been developed to understand the community views on the vision for the Learning Community Strategy, support for the Strategy and to establish priorities and actions to enable the Seaforth community to foster lifelong learning.

Please use this information when reviewing Survey 2 during the training.
