Background
A member of the public has submitted a Naming Proposal to name an amphitheatre currently not officially named. The proposed name is to commemorate the life of Phil Emmanuel who made a significant contribution to the local community through his music and mentoring and teaching of local artists. He also volunteered for several charities and cared deeply about the environment.

Naming proposals are processed in accordance with the endorsed Naming of Parks, Places, Community Infrastructure, Roads and Street Numbering Policy.
Feedback on this naming proposal must be made in writing, to council. Submissions closed 26 July 2021.
