Project information
Sunshine Coast Council is planning for the future of Sunjewel Park playground as part of council’s Infrastructure Renewal Program.
The project team is seeking input from the community to determine whether to renew the playground or return the area to open turfed area.
Community engagement
The community are encouraged to ‘have your say’ by providing feedback via the online survey.
This will indicate the community’s use and desires for the park and preference for the replacement playground equipment if it is renewed.
Please provide feedback before 5pm Monday 17 April 2023.
Where to from here
Community feedback received during this engagement phase will help council determine whether to remove or renew the existing playground at Sunjewel Park.
The funding for this project is scheduled for the 2023/2024 financial year.
