What to expect in the Youth Focus Group:

• Hear what young people told us about what matters
• Learn how the actions in the plan were created
• Explore real-life examples of the proposed actions
• Find out how the actions could benefit young people across the Sunshine Coast.

Participate in fun online activities about:

• What actions will make the biggest difference for young people
• What actions need more work
• What important actions are missing.

Date: Tuesday, 18 November 2025

Time: Session will start at 5:45pm. We will help you get settled and set-up and test sound etc. The focus group session will run from 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Location: Online via Microsoft Teams

You will be able to access the session using your phone, tablet, laptop or computer.

When you register you will receive a link to join the session via Microsoft Teams.

If you use a laptop or computer, you can join directly in your web browser (no download needed).

On a phone or tablet, you’ll need to download the free Microsoft Teams app from the App Store or Google Play.

• Age groups: Young people 12-24 years can participate in the online focus group

• Tech: You will need to be able to connect via your phone, tablet, laptop or computer

• Consent: Young people 12-15 years of age must have consent from their parent or guardian to participate

• Using Microsoft Teams: When you register you will receive a link to join the session via Microsoft Teams.
