Phase 1 consultation closed at 5pm on Friday, 29 November 2024.
Overview
Community engagement
Between 4 November and 29 November 2024, residents were invited to provide their input and feedback to help shape the M2U Active Transport Corridor. There were multiple ways to get involved:
The survey data will assist us to:
- Better understand the issues and opportunities along the M2U corridor
- Understand the type of active transport infrastructure that is important to our community
- Ensure connectivity and accessibility measures are tailored to the needs of the communities along the M2U corridor
- Understand community preference relating to open spaces and landscaping along the M2U corridor.
Stakeholder and community engagement will play an important role in ensuring connectivity and accessibility measures are tailored to the needs of our community. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on open spaces and landscaping preferences as part of planning and design.
Residents were asked to use the 'Feedback Map' to better understand issues the issues faced by people walking and riding on pathways and roads and what opportunities exist, including your ideas about ways to improve existing infrastructure or new connections points that could be considered along the corridor.
A summary of the phase 1 community engagement findings can be viewed here.
