Thank you to everyone who had their say on the Nambour (Namba) Place Plan community engagement between 28 August and 24 September 2023.

We asked for the community to confirm if they support the vision for the Place Plan, if they support the overall Plan for the town centre and to provide feedback on five streetscape focus areas.

The overwhelming response resulted in 94 per cent support for the Plan with 39 per cent in support of building Currie Street first, followed by Ann Street.

Council received 446 survey responses after undertaking numerous conversations with the community at five drop-in sessions, more than 30 stakeholder meetings and 20 community activation sessions.
